  1. What is Reality? (v. 17-18)

• Physical is temporary
• Spiritual is eternal

  2. Why am I Here?

       Purpose: We are to reflect what God is like. (Gen. 1:26)

• to be an extension of the presence of God (John 14:9)
• to be an expression of the person of God (John 10:30)
• to be an exhibit of the power of God (Mt: 28:18)

  3. What is God Up To?

God discloses himself to the world through us.

"Steward" = "house manager"

How are you managing what God gave you?

1. A Christian lives a multi-faceted life. Each is designed to reflect the glory of His maker. (Mt. 5:16; John 15:16, 8)
2. God's reason for demanding good stewardship: preparing us for future roles in eternity. (Mt. 25:14-23)

Stewardship that pleases God comes from a life devoted "to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, to obey his commands, to hold fast to him and to serve him with all your heart and all your soul." (Joshua 22:5b NIV)
