    1. Monthly Prayer and Fasting Gathering will be held today from 12:30 to 1:30 pm in Rm. 159. Please come and let's pray for individual and corporate repentance and revival!

    2. TODAY is the last day to accept the Church Council Nominations. Please place your ballot in the nominations box by the church office or the back of the FLC.

    3. Let us continue in an attitude of repentance prayer as we seek God's forgiveness and revival individually and corporately. For a good resource, go to www.call2fall.com/take_inventory.     4. Choir Party for Chinese and English Choir Members and Praise Teams on Wednesday, July 28 from 7:30 to 9:00 pm in Room 163. All choir members, praise teams and new members are welcome to join the fun for games, food, drink and fellowship!

    5. New Choir Rehearsal Schedule for Chinese Choir begins Tuesday, Aug. 3: Every Tuesday from 7:30 to 9:00 pm in Room 134. English Choir rehearsal remains unchanged, beginning Wednesday, Aug. 4 from 7:30 to 9:00 pm in Room 134.

    6. FOOD DRIVE for Gano Mission Center: We will be collecting food for the Gano Mission Center on Sunday, Aug. 8 and 15. Their shelves are pretty bare due to the great need during the summer months when children are out of school. Please bring your food items to CBC on the 8th or 15th and place under the stairwell by the church office. We will deliver the items on Monday, Aug. 16.

    7. Rainbow Ministry: Thursday, Aug. 12 at 10 am in the FLC. Josephine Choi will cover, "What Does GOD Want Me To Do With My Nursing and Seminary Degrees?" Lunch boxes- $4 each.

    8. "Men at the Cross" Event is on August 14 at Tallowood Baptist Church starting at 8:00 am. Wonderful event to equip you to be a mentor to reach other men and youth to Christ! For more information, please contact Sherman Yeang.

    9. The Christian Citizenship Ministryhas a table set up weekly in the back of the FLC with educational materials regarding how we can bring Biblical principles to bear on the current issues of the day. We will be highlighting one or two current issue(s) per quarter: the education textbook revision debate in Austin, TX and the health care reform law will be highlighted now through May 2010. Please come by and see how we can take a strong Biblical stand in our society.
