Vision: Equipping CBC men to become strong godly Christian leaders, loving husbands and better fathers.

Mission: CBC Men's Ministry has a mission to impact men with the love of Jesus Christ, allowing them to live victorious lives which in turn enable them to impact their families, their church and their world.

"As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another"

Proverbs 27:17 Key Verse

Actions

  • Accountability Groups: As men who know Jesus, you need to find other godly men that you can count on: men who will tell you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear; men who will pray for you and with you; men who believe that God has a great plan for you; men who will hold you accountable and be transparent in their lives with you.
  • Encouraging Fellowships: Bi-monthly gatherings of CBC men and their friends to focus on certain areas of concerns and needs, with topics and speakers that will facilitate unity, encouragement and growth.
  • Joyful Service in Jesus' Name:

"And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times you may abound in every good work."

    II Corinthians 9:8
Periodic work projects along with long-term ones that will minister the love of Jesus Christ to certain groups (local or international) that will result in impacting people for the kingdom of God.

Sunday School

The Men's Sunday School class meets Sunday morning at 11:15 am to study relevant Biblical topics and to apply Biblical principles in their daily lives.

Bible Study/Fellowship

The Titus Ten, Foundations for Godly Manhood

Everything in a man’s life hinges on the kind of man he is. Yet, none of us is naturally a godly man. That's something we have to learn, pursue, and cultivate. We need a manual to help us.

This book, by J. Josh Smith, is a manual for becoming the kind of man God intends for you to be, and leading other men to do the same. Taking ten qualities from the Apostle Paul's short letter to his mentee Titus, The Titus Ten will help you grow in your understanding of the gospel, your identity, your character, your doctrine, and more. Each chapter includes questions for reflection and discussion, to both process the way the Lord is growing you, and read in a group with other men. As you grow in these areas of your life, you'll become the kind of man God desires to use in your family, your church, and the world.

Bible study and fellowship begins on September 18, 2023, meeting on the below listed Monday evenings at 6:30 pm in the Mission House. Dinner is at 6:30 pm, followed by Bible study. Study breaks will be taken for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays and will resume in January. Pickleball tentatively scheduled at 4:30 pm before dinner.
