Chinese Baptist Church Summer Missions

Chinese Baptist Church will be sending out 3 teams of missionaries this summer. Each team will be reaching out to the unreached communities in Arizona, Cambodia and Taiwan. The funds received will be given in support the 3 mission teams.

  • The Arizona team will be sent out from June 3-7, 2024 to serve at Green Valley Baptist Church and two plant churches in Southern Arizona. The mission team will provide VBS, evangelism and visitation during the week.
  • The Taiwan team will be sent out from June 29- July 5, 2024. The team will be teaching English and sharing the gospel at Camp Joyful Hope. They will be performing visitations, conducting seminars and prayer-walks in the neighboring areas.
  • The Cambodia team will be sent out from July 1-7, 2024. The team will be working with the an anti-trafficking ministry in Phnom Penh. They are partnering with a local group to provide rehabilitation and healing for rescued girls and building schools for girls.

Tournament Format

This tournament will be a doubles event, all inclusive with 4 brackets (men, women, mixed doubles and non-competitive), depending on the number of players registered. Each person/each team will be placed in at least one bracket. If an individual player wishes to sign up for a 2nd bracket, the fee will be an additional $20. For example, if a player is assigned to the men's bracket and also plays in the mixed doubles, the total fee will be ($30 + $20) $50 for the tournament. Rules and regulation will be governed under the 2023 PPA guidelines. More details to come.

  • A signed waiver is required from each player before play begins. Please bring the waiver to the tournament.
  • If you are registering as a single, we will do our best to pair you up with a partner with a similar skill level.
  • Each team will call its own match and the winning team will provide the final score to the scores table to update the brackets. Each game will play to 11 points. If tied at 10 points, game is won with at least a 2 point margin. The format will be determined after registration is closed on May 25, 2024.
  • We will have 2 competition levels: non-competitive and competitive.
  • Awards will be provided to the finals match for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams.



Silent Auction

We will have silent auction items during the tournament. Items will include a Selkirk Luxx Paddle, Selkirk Backpacks, Selkirk Gift Cards, and live theater tickets.
