Growing in Favor with God
     Luke 2:41-52
    1. What are the events leading up to Jesus growing in favor with God?

      3. FACTS ABOUT THE FAVOR OF GOD:
      • We do not gain favor with God by gaining more information
      • Favor with God does not happen overnight (2 Pet. 3:8-9)
      • Favor with God does not happen by keeping more rules (Hb. 13:9, Jn. 8:32)
    3. How do we move toward the favor of God?
      • Jesus had zeal
      • Jesus had compassion
      • Jesus was meek and gentle
      • Jesus had courage
