- What are the events leading
up to Jesus growing in favor
with God?

- We do not gain favor with God by gaining more information
- Favor with God does not happen overnight (2 Pet. 3:8-9)
- Favor with God does not happen by keeping more rules (Hb. 13:9, Jn. 8:32)
- How do we move toward
the favor of God?
- Jesus had zeal

- Jesus was meek and gentle
